Dr. Shane C. Dultz, Chief Scientific Officer (CSO)

Dr. Dultz's research experience covers a broad range of fields over the last 15 years, having worked in three academic departments: Physics/Astronomy, Chemistry/Biochemistry, and Pathology/Laboratory Medicine, as well as high-tech companies in three different industries. His industrial R&D experience includes quantum information technology, quantum cryptography, medical devices, protein/DNA detection technologies, and optics. He has eight inventions, five of which are now pending patents related to the LFIRE technology. He was a Caltech postdoctoral scholar in the Superconducting and Magnetic Materials Group at Jet Propulsion Laboratory after receiving his Ph.D. in Condensed Matter Physics from the University of California, Los Angeles.
